You will be responsible for setting up your own small A-level department. Initially the department will comprise you as department head plus one teaching assistant under your supervision to assist you with setting & marking, monitoring, preparation and group work. As the College grows you will be responsible for developing your department and the new teaching staff that join you.
You will be working closely with the Principal and the three other department heads (EFL, Maths and Physics) to devise new strategies and policies for teaching A-level to mainly Chinese students. You will be teaching the Edexcel GCE specification, and the College will be the first Edexcel centre in China offering GCE qualifications to Chinese nationals. Much of your work will therefore be uncharted and will demand a strong creative and innovative input from you, in collaboration with the other senior members of the College.

The kindergarten is a private, early education centre featuring an interactive, multicultural curriculum set in a warm, bilingual environment.
